Since 2012, this new technology has already conquered street lighting, hotel illumination, and museography. Since then, it has begun to stealthily enter our homes, helping us to playfully change our approach to light.
But what is a LEDAn LED is an electronic component that emits light, sitting somewhere between traditional and electronic lighting. A powerful LED has an average lifespan of 50,000 hours, meaning that, at a rate of three hours a day, we can estimate a service life of 45 years. Therefore, an LED is a durable lighting solution that also consumes little energy.
When it comes to costs, you should know that the price difference between a traditional light bulb and an LED bulb is 3 to 5 times its price. However, by replacing your traditional bulbs with this new lighting concept, you will save up to 30%% on your electricity bill.
As with everything, you'll find very low-quality LEDs on the market, so you'll need to pay attention to the bulbs that are most compatible with your electrical grid so that everything works correctly.
Grupo ACV has extensive experience in this sector and can advise you on both quality and design. We have a wide range of LED lighting for both the interior of your home and your garden area.
What type of lighting do you prefer: cool or warm? LED technology has advanced significantly in the last 5-10 years. Initially, the lighting was cool, bluish, and over the years, the colour of the lighting has gradually softened to warmer tones. The development of LED lighting has also enabled significant advancements in hidden spaces where natural light doesn't reach. For instance, it's used in everything that's recessed (underneath kitchen cabinets or in the corners of cornices). It also enhances wall lighting, providing new designs, new graphic atmospheres, and a more delicate visual comfort.
Today, LED lighting continues to be a revolution in the world of illumination. You deserve the best; ask us for information. We'll be delighted to help you.
